The Wash Book

Pricing

Two plans, priced by the people who use them.

Basic runs the work: the schedule, the yard sheet, the invoices and the numbers. Pro adds everything about running people. Both include a block of users, crew and office alike, and every user after it is a few dollars a month.

14 days free on Pro, no card. Pick a plan at the end, or let the book go read-only and keep your data.

Unlimited customers and yards

With unit rosters, rate cards, access notes and contacts on each one.

Kept for as long as your account is open, and downloadable at any time.

We move your data in

Questions people ask first

Which plan am I?

Basic runs the work: the schedule, the yard sheet, invoices and QuickBooks, maintenance and the pulse. Pro adds running people: inspections and conduct, the clock and payroll hours, time off, the vehicle tracker, notices, the sales pipeline and service lines. You choose, and you can move between them from inside the app at any time. Nothing moves you automatically.

Who counts as a user?

Anyone who can sign in, crew and office alike. People with no email address can’t sign in and don’t count, and archiving someone frees their seat the same day. There is no cap: add as many people as you have.

When is a user added to the bill?

A user added part-way through a billing period is charged for the rest of that period, prorated. On a monthly plan that amount is added to your next invoice, so nothing is charged on the day. On a yearly plan it is charged straight away. A user you remove stays on the bill until the period ends and is never refunded.

Is there a yearly price?

Yes: eleven months’ price for twelve, so one month free, and the onboarding call is included. Basic is $869 a year plus $132 for each user past three. Pro is $2,739 a year plus $165 for each user past five, and on Pro yearly we move your data in for you at no charge.

What does it cost to get set up?

Nothing, if you set it up yourself: the import workbook, a walkthrough on every page, the help chat and email support come with every plan. An onboarding call is included with a yearly plan and is $149 on a monthly one. Having us move your data in is $299 on Basic and $499 on Pro (up to about 50 yards; larger is quoted), and is included with Pro yearly. Training past that is $100 an hour by video.

Why does every user count?

So the base price stays low and the bill is easy to predict. Each plan includes a block of users, and a user past it costs $12 or $15 a month, which is less than an hour of anyone’s time. Washers logging their own units is the point of the app, so the seat is priced to never be a reason to keep them off it.

Do I need QuickBooks?

No. Without it, every invoice is still built for you and its lines copy in one tap. With it, the same invoice is written into QuickBooks Online after a preview. The tracker connection is optional in the same way: without it, the office sets time on site from the schedule.

What happens when the trial ends?

The trial runs on Pro, so you see everything. When it ends the book goes read-only. Nothing is deleted. You can still open everything and download it. Pick a plan and it picks up exactly where it stopped.

Can I get my data out?

Any time, without asking. The whole book downloads as a spreadsheet or as a complete copy of every record, from inside the app.

Do you take a cut of anything?

No. Nothing per wash, per unit, per invoice or per connection. The plan and its users are the whole bill, apart from any one-time setup help you choose to buy.

Is my customer list separate from other companies’?

Yes. Every record belongs to one business and there is no path between them. New books start completely empty, and we make no claim on your data, aggregated or otherwise.

Fourteen days, no card.

Long enough to run two weeks of stops through it and see whether the numbers come out right.
